Re: Subdivision and Rezoning – Southeast Corner of Robert Bockstael Drive and Warde Avenue

Qualico Communities has applied to rezone the parcel of land at the corner of Robert Bockstael Drive and Warde Avenue, highlighted on the map below.

The application that has been submitted to the city is requesting a rezoning to a single-family zone from a multi-family zone. The land is currently zoned RMF-S (residential multi-family small) and will be changed to R1-M (residential single-family medium).

We are proposing a similar subdivision design to Redpoll Place and Pelican Point, which would be a cul de sac with 16 lots.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this application or what this rezoning means, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at info@sagecreek.ca.

A message from your SCRA Sports Director

Hello residents of Sage Creek!

My name is Joe Albo and I’m the new Sports Director for the SCRA.

I live in Sage Creek with my wife, 2 kids, and my dog.

I’ve played and coached soccer all my life, but enjoy all sports.

During my experience with sports, I’ve made lifelong friends while learning valuable life lessons.

We’ve all faced challenging times with the pandemic - but I believe the strength of our community and sport can help us get through this.

Communities that participate in sport develop strong social bonds, safe neighborhoods, and can lead to happier and healthier lives.

Most importantly, we can all have fun!

I’m thrilled to announce that we are currently looking at organizing a tennis and pickle ball tournament, as well as a kids mini soccer tournament.

It’s going to be an exciting spring, summer and fall here in Sage Creek. I’m looking forward to getting to know my neighbours.

If you see me out and about in the neighborhood, be sure to say hello.

In the meantime, while my email is getting migrated, please message secretary@sagecreekra.com or message us on social media and we’ll be sure to get back to you!

Thanks

Joe
